How Canton Suite works
Everything is self-serve. From booking to door code, nothing needs a phone call.
1. Choose how you want to book
Weekly 4-hour block — the same 4 hours on the same day every week, for example Tuesday 3 – 7 PM: $200 per month. Pick any weekday (weekends too) and any start time from 7 AM to 5 PM.
Your own day, every week — the same day each week (any day, Saturday and Sunday included), 7 AM – 9 PM: 1 day $350 · 2 days $650 · 3 days $900 · 5 days $1,400 per month. Plans with 5 days include free overnight parking for one car.
How the monthly fee works: it covers every occurrence of your day or block in that month (4 or 5 of them). It's charged on the 1st and renews automatically each month until you cancel with 30 days' notice — there is no fixed term and no lease. First month half off with code FIRSTHALF (new weekly plans). Referrals: if a member refers you, put their email in "Referred by" — when your weekly plan starts, you both get the following month half off.
Just one day — pick a date, then your hours at $22/hour (2-hour minimum), a half day of any 4 hours in a row for $60, or the full day, 7 AM – 9 PM, for $95. Longer bookings are automatically priced at the half-day or full-day rate when that's cheaper. Paid once at booking. New licensees get their first 2 hours free — applied automatically at checkout. The calendar shows each date as open (blue), partly booked (yellow), or booked (red).
2. Book and pay
Pick a room, pick your day(s) and hours, enter your name and email, read and sign the Room License Agreement (typed name + checkbox), then pay by card through Stripe. Bookings begin no earlier than the opening date shown on the home page.
3. Verify your identity (once)
Right after payment you get an email with a "Verify my identity" button. It takes about two minutes on your phone: a photo of your government ID and a selfie, checked by Stripe. We never see or store the images. You do this once; later bookings skip it.
4. Insurance
Every licensee must carry liability insurance for their work and their clients on the premises — professional liability for clinical services, plus general liability (minimum $1,000,000 per occurrence) — and you confirm this when you sign the agreement. No insurance, no booking. Any incident involving you, your clients, or vehicles anywhere on the premises (rooms, hallway, waiting room, parking lot) is handled by your insurance, not ours. Nothing to upload to book; just have your certificate ready if we ask (within 48 hours). You can upload it anytime from the "Manage this booking" link.
Don't have insurance yet? Coaches, tutors, and consultants can buy general liability coverage online in about ten minutes (for example Hiscox, Next Insurance, or Thimble) — typically a few hundred dollars a year, and many offer month-to-month.
5. Your door code
One-day booking: your code is in the confirmation email (after verification). It works only on your date, between your start and end hour.
Weekly plan: a fresh code arrives by email early in the morning (by 6 AM) on each booked day, valid for that day's hours only.
You get two codes: 1) FRONT DOOR (outside, from the parking lot) and 2) HALLWAY DOOR (inside, to the suite). Front door first, then the hallway door.
Important: the hallway door locks automatically behind you. If it closes and you don't have your code, you cannot get back in — no one is on site to open it. Take your codes with you every time you step out (restroom, car, coffee), and screenshot them on your phone before you arrive.
At the door: enter the code on the keypad, then press #. The lock has a fingerprint reader too, but that's for the resident practice — licensees use the code. Codes are personal; don't share them.
6. On the day
Large free parking lot — plenty of room for you and your clients (2+ cars per booking is no problem) — free during your hours, and only during your hours: a car left after your end time is billed as extra room time at the hourly rate, and may be towed. (Weekly-plan licensees with 5 or more days a week may leave one car overnight, free.) Waiting room, restroom, Wi-Fi, and the coffee & tea station ($1/cup — cash box, or Venmo / Zelle by the QR code at the station) are shared, and tissues & restroom supplies (tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap) are provided. Common areas (entrance, hallway, coffee station, parking) have video-only security cameras — no audio, and none in therapy rooms or the restroom; please mention it to your clients. White-noise machines stay on during sessions.
Checkout rules — please, the next clinician arrives right after you:
- Put furniture back where you found it (chairs, side table, lamp).
- Take your trash with you or use the bin in the hallway. Tissues, cups, food — nothing left in the room.
- Wipe the table if you used it (wipes are on the shelf).
- Lights off, white-noise machine off, window closed.
- Pull the hallway door shut behind you until it clicks — it locks itself.
Rooms left messy are charged a $25 reset fee to your card on file; damage beyond that is charged at the cost of repair. Please don't make us do that.
7. Manage, reschedule, cancel
Every confirmation email has a "Manage this booking" link: see your booking, upload the insurance certificate, or cancel.
One-time: cancel at least 24 hours before your start time for a full refund to your card (3–5 business days). Inside 24 hours, no refund. To change hours, cancel and rebook.
Weekly plan: cancel anytime; your weekday stays yours for 30 days after you cancel, then it's released and billing stops.
Need more time today? Book the extra hours on the site as a new booking (if the calendar shows them open). Your new door code arrives by email right away. Staying past your booked end time without booking is billed at the hourly rate to your card on file.
8. Billing
Credit or debit card only (Stripe). Weekly plans are charged on the 1st of each month (receipt by email). If a charge fails, Stripe emails you a link to update the card; after two failed attempts the weekday is released. One-time bookings are charged in full at booking.
