Room Alpha: a bright talk-therapy office in Canton, MA
Room Alpha is the garden-side office at Canton Suite — 150 square feet with a window, natural light, a sofa and two chairs, and an electric sit/stand desk. It seats three comfortably and is set up for adult individual and couples sessions.
What's in the room
- Sofa plus two chairs — room for a client, a couple, or a parent and teen.
- Window on the garden side, so sessions happen in daylight rather than only under overhead lights.
- Electric sit/stand desk for notes and telehealth between clients.
- White-noise machine and a sound-dampened room.
- Wi-Fi, the shared waiting room, restroom, and the coffee and tea station down the hall.
- Tissues & restroom supplies — tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap.
- Large free parking lot — plenty of room for you and your clients (2+ cars per booking is no problem).
Who books Room Alpha
Alpha works best for conversation-based work: psychotherapy with adults, couples counseling, coaching, supervision meetings, and assessment interviews. With three seats, a window, and a desk you can raise between sessions, it is the room for sitting and talking. If your work involves children, play materials, or movement, Room Beta at the quiet end of the hall is set up for that instead.
Booking Alpha
You can hold Alpha as a weekly 4-hour block, as your own full day every week, or for single dates by the hour. Availability is shown live on the booking calendar, and the door code arrives by email after a one-time ID check — there is no key pickup and no front desk. Your code opens the front door and the hallway door only during your booked hours, plus fifteen minutes on each side.
The suite sits right off Route 128 / I-95 in Canton with its own free lot, so clients from Norwood, Sharon, Stoughton, and Dedham can park at the door and walk in without stairs.
